BACK THE PACK CAMP
In January 2022, our team — ranked 13th in the world — won BRONZE at the Pan American Cup and booked our ticket to the 2022 World Cup in Spain this July. This will be the first time in 28 years that our Canadian women’s team has qualified, but we need your help to get there!

The Canadian Women’s National Field Hockey Team will be hosting a camp in Duncan for any interested players. In addition to promoting the women’s program, the team is looking to raise money and a sense of excitement as the World Cup quickly approaches. As an amateur sport in Canada, our program has received no “Own the Podium” government funding since 2015 and largely relies on donations, sponsorships & athlete levies to continue. With the financial support the team can focus attention on training, competing and making Canada proud at the World Cup. We are extremely grateful for any and all support from our community.

The Cowichan Warriors will finally have their debut at the California Cup May 28-30! This team was formed in 2019 with the intention of playing as a u16 team in 2020. Covid-19 got in the way but didn’t stop the Warriors! After a long 2 years of waiting this young team will play in the u19 division. We are sooo PROUD of your dedication to your team and this tournament! Best of luck and have fun!

Here are some photos of the Warriors playing a test match to help them prepare for their tournament.
