Womens Field Hockey
Cowichan Field Hockey – Ladies League
Team: 11 aside played on an artificial water-based turf pitch
Season: September to April
Ages: 13 to 99 (must be turning 14 in playing season)
Practices: Tuesday evenings 6-7:30pm
Practice Location: John Ferreira Turf Field, Cowichan Sportsplex
Teams: Divisions 1 & 2 competitive; Division 3 – two recreational teams
Game Days: Saturdays
Game Locations: University of Victoria & Cowichan Sportsplex

New players welcome - come and out and join the fun!
Reminder for all players to attend as many practices as possible. The club pays for turf time and this is a great opportunity to practice with your team mates. There is about 30 minutes of skills/warm up then a scrimmage for the remainder. It’s a lot of fun!

Ladies Outdoor Practice Schedule Fall 2010
Tuesdays & Thursdays - 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Tuesdays – 1 hour drills/practice with 30 a minute game/scrimmage
Thursdays – drop in game
- August 24, 26, 31
- September 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30
- October 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28
Tuesdays only – 6:00 – 7:30pm
Drills/practice with game/scrimmage
November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
December 7
Please remember to always check your email before a practice if the weather appears questionable (snow, freezing or torrential rain). We will do our best to keep everyone informed of cancelled practices due to weather.
