Congratulations to Cowichan’s Robin Fleming (Uvic) and Sara Goodman (UBC) on being named to the 2018 Canada West Field Hockey All-Stars!

“This past weekend saw 5 ladies teams in action at the annual Westerly Tournament. The Cougars were undefeated; winning 7 out of the 8 games they played, scoring 20 goals and conceding only 2. They regained the trophy with a whopping 22 points, Comox placed second with 13 points and Nanaimo picked up third place with 10 points. Thank you to all who participated and helped out to make this tournament happen, it was a fun filled weekend with some marvellous hockey thrown in for good measure. Mark you calendars for next year Ladies!”

NEW THIS YEAR for those individuals without FHBC insurance playing on a team from a ‘Developing Area’ (e.g. Comox, Nanaimo and further afield) Team Insurance can now be purchased from FHBC under their brand new ‘Day of Event’ membership category for $90 per team.
